of senior analysis in a typical audit, not an automated report

Revenue decisions should be backed by evidence, not assumptions.

Your marketing systems should work as hard as your team does. A BRIK Digital audit gives you a clear, data-led view of how each channel is performing, where budget is being lost and where the next stage of growth will come from.

We don’t just identify what’s wrong. We show you how to fix it, in order of commercial impact.

Who it’s for

When an audit makes sense

Heads of marketing

Confidence that SEM, SEO, paid social and website activity are aligned to best practice and commercial objectives.

New in the role

An independent baseline of the accounts, tracking and agency setup you’ve inherited, before you set your plan.

Reviewing an agency

An objective view of how your agency’s work stacks up, with evidence to support the conversation.

Investors and owners

Understand the digital upside, performance gaps and risks within a business before investing further.

What the audit covers

Choose the channels in scope

Paid search

Google Ads and Microsoft Ads: account structure, bidding strategies, search query coverage, ad testing and conversion tracking, to identify wasted spend and scalable growth.

Paid social

Campaign structure, creative performance, audience strategy and signal quality, to improve efficiency, scale and return from Meta investment.

SEO & AI search

Technical, on-page and off-site analysis aligned to modern search behaviour, including AI-driven search, to improve visibility and organic growth.

Conversion rate optimisation

User experience, messaging and conversion pathways, to find friction points and lift the value of the traffic you already have.

Analytics & tracking

GA4, Tag Manager and platform conversion tracking, to confirm the data driving your bidding and reporting is accurate.

How the audit works

A structured, four-stage process

  1. Scope and objectives

We agree the channels in scope, your commercial objectives and the questions the audit needs to answer.

  2. Access and data

Read-only access to the relevant platforms, analytics and reporting, plus context from your team.

  3. Analysis

A detailed review of configuration, performance and measurement against best practice and your objectives.

  4. Findings and plan

We present the report and prioritised action plan, and agree the next steps with your team.

How long does an audit take?

Most audits involve 10 to 20 hours of senior analysis, depending on the number of channels and the size of the accounts. We confirm scope and timing before work begins.

What does an audit cost?

Audits are charged at $95 an hour, with the scope and estimated hours agreed upfront, so there are no surprises.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to the platforms in scope, such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Search Console. We'll send a short access checklist once the scope is agreed.

Can you audit work managed by our agency?

Yes. An independent audit is a common way to benchmark agency performance and confirm accounts are set up to best practice. Findings are presented objectively, with evidence for every recommendation.

What happens after the audit?

The findings are yours to keep. You can implement them in-house, brief them to your agency, or have us help through Implementation & Management.

Why do an audit before changing strategy?

It replaces assumptions with evidence, so budget and effort go where they'll have the most impact. Read more in Digital Marketing Audit: The Best Move Our Clients Make.
